Why Give?

Members of Every Nation contribute to the life and work of the church in many different ways. While the information below relates to financial giving, other pages on this site explain the variety of ways you can get involved and contribute to Every Nation Dublin’s many ministries.

Please note that we do not expect visitors to give financially. This is something we do as a church family, and for those who share the vision of the ministry.

However, if you have benefited from the ministry of Every Nation Dublin and would like to partner with us financially, you may do so by one of the following ways:

We believe in the practice of giving tithes (10% of income) and offerings (>10%). Not out of compulsion or necessity but from the overflow of a heart that has been touched and changed by God. (2 Cor 9:6-12)

We give because we believe this is a reflection of the nature of God who is the ultimate generous giver. We freely give because God has freely given to us. (John 3:16; Matt 10:8)

We give because we believe this is a way of putting God and His Kingdom first in our lives. (Prov 3:9-10)

We give because God said to test Him in this (tithes & offerings) and see if He does not open the floodgates of heaven to bless us in ways that we didn’t think possible. (Mal 3:10)

The Irish government allows registered charities to claim an additional 31% in donations received from Irish tax payers during a tax year.

For example, a donation of €1,000 by a tax payer in Ireland during a specific tax year will be grossed up to €1,310 by Irish Revenue.
(Please see revenue.ie/en/personal/charities/html)  As you can imagine this is a great benefit for the church.

Our treasurers approach donors of amounts equal to or more than €250 in a tax year, to sign a CHY3 form confirming that they have given the amount recorded. This enables the church to submit the claim.
